This superb rum is added to the EL Dorado collection . It is the result of the skilful marriage of our Master Blenders, old rums the youngest being four years old, kept by Demerara Distillers, including the original wooden Coffey Still from Enmore and the Wooden pot from Port Mourant.
This 8-year-old rum is a complex fusion of flavor, full-bodied with a blend of heavy bodies and other lighter rums, aged in old bourbon barrels creating a sumptuous rum to sip or enjoy in cocktails.
A medium-bodied aroma with notes of tobacco mixed with caramel. Slight smell of dried fruits and banana flambé. Sweet and slightly sweet in the mouth with notes of oak and caramel. Distinctly soft.
