Lagavulin 8 years 200th Anniversary
In the late 1880s, Alfred Barnard, the very first whisky journalist, visited the distillery and had the chance to taste an Lagavulin 8 years old. He described it at the time as "exceptionally fine" and said Lagavulin was "one of the only distilleries that can produce a quality single malt ". The distillery has chosen to give a nod to this anecdote, and to celebrate this exceptional anniversary it is relaunching a limited edition Lagavulin 8 years.
Lagavulin
A true icon of Scotch whisky, Lagavulin captivates with its bold and smoky character. Slowly aged on the Isle of Islay, it develops deep aromas of peat, sea spray, dried fruits, and spices. An unforgettable sensory experience for lovers of peated whisky.
