Laphroaig Triple Wood
It is finally transferred a second time, this time to barrels that have contained oloroso sherry. This triple maturation results in a balanced whisky with notes of peat, wood and sherry. After a more or less long period - depending on the needs of the whisky - it is reduced to 48% and bottled without cold filtering.
A special cuvée of the Laphroaig single malt, Triple Wood is a younger, stronger and richer version in taste than its older brothers. It is the ideal whisky for lovers of peated and unchilled single malt. Die-hard Islay fans won't be disappointed.
