- Nose: Smoky, peaty.
- Mouth: Peaty, peppery, with a fruity complexity.
- Final: Long, mellow, marked by persistent peat.
Our tasting notes for
Nose : Un fumé soutenu aux effluves de tourbe. Extraordinairement riche : citron, gingembre frais, confiture de prune. Salé et épicé.
Palate : Comme un boulet de canon : il frappe le palais directement avec des notes de cacao, de tourbe et de miel. Se développe dans une explosion d’épices (poivre) sur une tourbe bien terreuse.
Finish : Toujours plus de tourbe et d’épices. La finale est bien sèche. Mais, alors que vous pensez la tourbe partie, elle revient vous frapper de nouveau.
Smokehead
Smokehead was designed in 2006 to recruit new consumers: younger, more connected, more fun. In its early days, the brand moved closer to cocktail bars. We also remember its association in 2008 with Brewdog, the cult Scottish beer whose Paradox aged in ex-cask having contained the whisky made a hit. Because Smokehead proclaims it loud and clear: it is a whisky of today.
