Bruichladdich Octomore 10.3

This Single Malt from Islay is one of the most peaty in the world (114 ppm). It was made from barley from Octomore Farm in 2012 and distilled in 2013. Aged for 6 years in 1st fill American whiskey barrels (Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and Jack Daniel).

Octomore 10.3 was bottled at the distillery, without addition or cold filtration.

Aromatic profile: Peated (earthy), lemon zest, iodized chocolate.

To know: For the first time, this year the peat levels between .1 and .3 are close. Our desire is to highlight this year the influence of the terroir where barley grows on the character of whisky with almost similar peat level.
