Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 years old batch 2
From the Ardbeg distillery to Port Ellen and beyond, follow the rocky coastline and you'll discover the paradisiacal beach of Traigh Bhan (pronounced tri-van), known locally as Singing Sands... This bottle owes its name to this place where a soft white sand whistles in contact with the feet of those who tread it. However, this beach contains traps that give it a very special character. Under its clear and placid waters, hide volcanic rocks with sharp edges.
Part of a very sought-after and collectible Ardbeg series, this 19 Years of Batch No. 2 is our last expression, in very limited quantities as every year. Elegant, complex and incredibly balanced, its delicate taste surprises and seduces, with intense waves of smoke that never overwhelm. A rare and special Ardbeg for a long and intense finish.
Ardbeg
The distillery Ardbeg produces the most peated single malt in Scotland. In the past, the lack of ventilation in malt drying furnaces retained peat smoke, explaining the highly peated nature of its single malt. Single malts Ardbeg combine a rusticity full of charm, great finesse and a great richness of expression worthy of the best whisky.
