Nose : Rond et fumé (comme du pommier brûlé) avec des notes de caramel crémeux, d’anis, de mélasse et de dattes. Desurprenantes notes de fruits juteux comme la pêche et la banane.

Palate : Une texture lisse et crémeuse laisse place à une grande douceur sirupeuse, des saveurs de chocolat au lait, de caramelgourmand, d’anis, d’orange et de feuilles de thé fumées.

Finish : Persistante, séduisante, douce et intense, avec des saveurs d’anis, de caryer et de subtiles fumées lointaines.

The distillery Ardbeg produces the most peated single malt in Scotland. In the past, the lack of ventilation in malt drying furnaces retained peat smoke, explaining the highly peated nature of its single malt.
