An exclusive treasure: the Planteray Barge 166 Long Pond VRW 2017

Distilled in 2017 at Long Pond, this rum is a Jamaican masterpiece. Aged for 7 years in a 400 L Ferrand barrel, including 13 months of maturation in a 30 L mini-barrel in new French oak with a strong toast, it benefits from dynamic ageing on barge 166, the project signed Ferrand. This unique technique enriches its aromatic palette. Unsweetened, without dosage and bottled at its natural strength, this rum is the pure expression of traditional know-how.

Remarkable aromatic concentration

With esters reaching 256 g/hL AA and a volatile composition of 870 g/hL AA, this rum offers an intense sensory experience. Its nose reveals exuberant aromas of overripened tropical fruits, such as pineapple and mango. On the palate, the vibrant acidity of passion fruit and pineapple blossoms, while the finish stretches to earthy and nutty notes.
