An iconic distillery in Jamaica

Founded in 1949, the Clarendon distillery is one of the pillars of Jamaican rum heritage. This single cask distilled in 2010 and aged for 12 years was selected by wm cadenhead for its singular profile, marked by a high concentration of esters. A true tribute to the know-how of this distillery which masters to perfection the palette ranging from "light" rums to "heavy" profiles typical of the island.

An intense and contrasting aroma

This Clarendon 12 Year Old reveals a generous nose, dominated by ripe pineapple, vegetal notes of tomato leaves and a smoky character reminiscent of barbecue sauce. On the palate, the complexity continues with menthol notes wrapped in beeswax and nutmeg. The long and tasty finish is adorned with toasted almonds, pine nuts and a touch of candied lime.
