History and philosophy of Samaroli

Founded in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, the Italian house has established itself as a key reference in the world of independent spirits. His approach is based on the meticulous selection of exceptional barrels, bottled without artifice to reveal the purity of the terroir and the uniqueness of each distillery.

A rum with character born in Jamaica

Distilled in 2012 in a small distillery in Jamaica, this rum comes from molasses that is naturally fermented before being distilled in a pot still. It has been aged for 5 years in a tropical climate and then for 7 years in Europe, in ex-bourbon barrels, giving rise to a profile of great complexity. Published in only 252 copies, it asserts itself at 57% vol.

Tasting notes

The nose reveals powerful aromas of ripe banana, pineapple and mango, enhanced by citrus and warm spices. The palate, ample and velvety, mixes tropical fruits, molasses and peppery notes. The finish, long and warm, ends with accents of candied citrus and a subtle floral touch.
