A Jamaican vintage shaped by tradition

Produced in the mythical Hampden distillery, in the heart of Trelawny in Jamaica, this rum is in line with the great expressions rich in aromatic compounds. Produced from molasses, it benefits from a long fermentation of 1 to 2 weeks, a signature of the Jamaican style. Distillation in a pot still concentrates the structure and intensity, with a high ester content (338 g/hL AA) and 527 g/hL AA of volatile compounds, guaranteeing a strong aromatic profile.

Complex ageing at the service of depth

Aged for 7 years in bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, this 2016 vintage then underwent a continental refinement of 2 months in Cognac Ferrand barrels and then 1 year and 5 months in barrels containing spicy sauce. Bottled at 53.1% without added sugar (0 g/L) or caramel (0 g/L), it reflects a demanding approach to barrel aging and rum with character, intended for lovers of authentic spirits.
