Joy Spence's rare casks

The 12 Year Old Rare Casks is the premium expression ofAppleton Estate, blended by Joy Spence, the first female Master Blender in the rum industry (since 1997). Each rum in the blend has a minimum of 12 years of tropical aging in American oak barrels.

A masterful Jamaican 12-year-old

The nose is complex : candied orange, ancient vanilla, flower honey, Creole spices, cocoa and toasted oak. The palate is ample and structured: toffee, ginger, nuts, candied tropical fruits and elegantly integrated Jamaican funk. The finish is long and spicy. Regularly awarded, this rum is a reference in its category.

Our tasting notes for 12 years Rare Casks
