Worthy Park, a centuries-old legacy

Founded in 1720 and owned by the Clark family since 1918, Worthy Park is a key player in Jamaican rum. Located in the Sainte-Catherine region, this estate covers 3600 hectares and controls the entire production process, from the cultivation of sugar cane to the traditional distillation in stills.

A rum with a strong character

Mezan Jamaica 2005 (Worthy Park Estate) 40° is an unsweetened and uncoloured rum, a pure reflection of the Jamaican terroir. Its long fermentation and double distillation in a copper still give it a unique aromatic complexity, combining intense fruity notes with a toasted and slightly empyreumatic structure.

A contrasting bouquet of aromas

On the nose, a slight touch of varnish precedes a festival of fruits: pear, cherry and candied banana. On the palate, the attack is dry, with a frank pear followed by banana and toasted nuances. The finish, long and marked by cooked caramel and empyreumatic notes, extends on a subtle touch of cherry.
