A typical Jamaican blend

With the Jamaica 4 Year Old, the Compagnie des Indes offers an original blend of two styles of distillation: the copper pot still, a guarantee of deep and complex aromas, and the column, bringing roundness and balance. After a fermentation of 24 to 72 hours, the rum ages for 4 years in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels, developing an aromatic richness faithful to the esprit of the most emblematic Jamaican rums. Its alcohol content of 57% makes it a rum with an assertive character, made for lovers of intense sensations.

Tasting notes

On the nose, the Jamaica 4 Year Old opens with aromas of ripe banana, fresh cane juice, candied fruit and a hint of praline. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied and generous texture, mixing notes of flambéed banana, juicy pineapple and chocolate, in a harmonious balance between power and greed.
