Add to that one of the best cane sugars in the world, and you have the best representative of Jamaican rums, with a unique and recognizable flavor profile. We find an explosion of flavors on the nose. Black olive, toasted and roasted notes. On the palate, we are on milky aromas, exotic fruits to find in the finish the hazelnut and almond very typical of Hampden rums. The ageing in French oak barrels brings a much drier and tighter side to the palate than usual.

La Compagnie des Indes

Compagnie des Indes rums are made with care and elegance. The idea was born from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East India companies of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, which selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Like the latter, we select the best qualities of rum and import them in France. Compagnie des Indes rums, whether bottled in Single Casks or assembled to bring out the typicality and qualities of each destination, are selected with great rigor.
