A rum from a legendary distillery

The Transcontinental Jamaica Worthy Park 2013 Navy comes from the Worthy Park distillery, founded in 1710, making it the oldest in Jamaica. After closing in 1950, it was relaunched in 2005, reviving a rich tradition of producing authentic rums.

Double ageing and controlled power

Distilled in 2013, this rum was aged for nearly 2 years in the tropical cellars of Worthy Park, before being matured for another 2.5 years in a European climate. Bottled at 57°, this "Navy Strength" reveals an impressive and balanced aromatic intensity.

Complexity and aromatic richness

On the nose, notes of buttery banana, sweet almond, cherry and resin intertwine with a youthful and waxy woodiness. On the palate, power blends with flavours of ripe fruit, cocoa and fresh tobacco. A lingering finish of dried fruit and stones concludes this unique experience. ---
