The Silver Seal - Hampden Jamaica 16 Year Old Vintage 2000 embodies the excellence of Jamaican rum. Distilled in 2000 at Long Pond, famous for its intense rums, it matured 16 years before its bottling to Scotland in 2016. This long ageing offers a rare aromatic richness, a testament to the distillery's unique know-how.

A bewitching aromatic palette

On the nose, this rum reveals a balance between velvety exotic fruits such as mango and pineapple, and a harmonious milky touch. On the palate, the power is controlled, with concentrated flavours of fermented fruit, invigorating acidity and a stimulating copperiness. The finish, fresher, explores aromas of pear and green banana, punctuated by notes of cherry stone.
