Aged 29 years, this rum carries the HLCF mark (500 to 700 gr/hl of pure alcohol at distillation), it is undoubtedly one of the oldest Hampden bottled to date. This unique fut left behind 216 bottles bottled without cold filtration or reduction, at 60.2%.

The legend of Hampden Estate

Founded in 1753 by Archibald Sterling in Spain's Queen Valley, the Hampden distillery is one of the oldest in Jamaica. Renowned for its heavy and powerful rums, Hampden has survived the centuries while maintaining its artisanal know-how. After being bought in 2009 by the Hussey family, the distillery has regained its momentum, while remaining true to its traditional methods, in particular the exclusive use of iron stills.
