Monymusk Distillery is one of Jamaica's oldest sugar cane plantations and distilleries. The distillery has been producing molasses rums for over 200 years.

Its existence is traced back to Sir Archibald Grant, a Scottish baron, who named the distillery after the name of his estate in Aberdeenshire in Ecosse.La distillery is the largest in Jamaica, with six pot stills and three column stills. This high-quality, twice-distilled spirit is a medium-heavy ester rum.


Famous for its golden sunshine, turquoise waters and gently swaying palm trees, the Caribbean is also the birthplace of one of the oldest and most beloved spirits in the world: rum. For centuries, rum production has flourished among this myriad of islands, creating a rich and nuanced palette of aromas and styles unique to each location and distillery.
