Born from a unique collaboration with Bodegas Fundador, this rum is the first of Hampden Estate to age entirely in 500-litre sherry casks. What's different about Hampden Pagos 2022?

According to the first returns, the sherry would be more discreet and from a more scientific explanation, this would be explained by an increase in congeners 2304.2gr/hlpa against 1603.5 for the 2022. The same goes for the espers, 467.9gr/hlpa for this new edition, compared to 394gr/htpa for the previous one. But more simply, the batch and the vintage are indicated above the barcode.

Hampden Estate

Built around 1750 the Hampden distillery originally belonged to a Scotsman Archibald Sterling. Hampden is known for its heavy rums distilled in copper stills. The fermentation is long and natural (no use of commercial yeasts).
