Limited to 500 bottles, this incredible blend is the result of a unique blend. A barrel of traditional rum from Guadeloupe aged in 1973, then transferred 10 years ago into barrels (1000L barrels). Then, a barrel from a blend of two rums from 1993, assembled together in 1995 in Europe and then aged in an old rum barrel.

For the latter, it is rum from Guyana from three atypical stills; Savalle from Diamond, Enmore and Port Mourant at the Uitvlugt distillery and Jamaican Wedderburn-style rum distilled in pot still. This blend has been aged in an ex rum cask. The exact DNA of this blend follows the following proportions: 72.2% from Guadeloupe 1973 and 27.8% from Guyana/Jamaica 1993.

Our tasting notes for Leviathan

Nose : très identitaire s’exprime avec de très fortes touches d’ambre, de patchouli, de café et de fève de tonka. Enfin, le fond de verre après dégustation laisse quant à lui place à de belles effluves de rancio

Palate : xplosion d’arômes avec un caractère racé. Des notes tertiaires, comme du cuir, du café fraichement torréfié apparaissent en première bouche, puis on passe

Finish : touche d’amertume très prononcée (due à son âge élevé). Avec de la réglisse du boisé surlignant son caractère si puissant
