The rum of the Rising Sun

The CorCor Green is produced by the Grace Rum distillery on the island of Minamidaitō, in the Okinawa archipelago of Japan. This artisanal micro-distillery uses local sugar cane grown on this subtropical island. The rum is distilled in a pot still from pure cane juice, then bottled unfiltered, retaining a slight natural cloudiness.

Purity and originality

The nose is delicate and original: fresh cane, aromatic herbs, subtle flowers and a touch of maritime minerality . The palate is light and pure, with flavors of green cane, yuzu lemon, ginger and a delicate salinity. The finish is clean and refreshing. A rum with a very Japanese finesse that will surprise amateurs in search of discoveries. Perfect as a Ti-Punch or in sleek Japanese-inspired cocktails .

CorCor

The waves slowly caress the shore in a cove surrounded by cliffs overlooking the ocean. It's late autumn in Minamidaito, an island south of Japan, and a light breeze passes between the cane sugar fields that dot the island.
