An exceptional artisanal Japanese rum: Nine Leaves - Almost Spring Cabernet Sauvignon Cask

Created by Yoshiharu Takeuchi in 2013, Nine Leaves - Almost Spring is produced in a traditional micro-distillery located in Otsu, near Tokyo. Inspired by the techniques of Scottish single malts, this rum is distilled twice in pot stills from Scotland, guaranteeing exceptional precision and quality.

Ageing in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon barrels

This rum gets its uniqueness from a one-year ageing in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels from the vineyards of Wente, California. The barrels, subject to the climatic variations of the mountains of Shiga Prefecture, give rich and complex notes to the rum.

A tribute to Muscovado sugar

Made from Muscovado brown sugar, called Kokuto in Japan, this unrefined rum seduces with its aromatic depth and authenticity. Nine Leaves - Almost Spring Cabernet Sauvignon Cask is an invitation to discover the harmonious marriage between Japanese tradition and international influences.
