A limited edition inspired by innovation

Karibia - Eliko Batch 1 is made by the Bielledistillery in Marie-Galante from pure 100% Marie-Galantais cane juice harvested by hand in 2015. Distilled on a 16-tray Savalle column, it is aged for eight years divided between old bourbon barrels and first fill bourbon barrels. This edition brings together casks n°474 and n°475, each bottled in 260 copies, i.e. only 520 numbered bottles. Unfiltered and without reduction, this rum is presented with a visual identity inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's flying wheel, complemented by a wooden label, a hemp rope cover and a "flame" key ring in homage to the world of aeronautics.

Tasting notes

The 474 cask opens with a lively attack before revealing notes of vanilla, delicate wood and caramel. The 475 cask develops a more intense profile, marked by spices, chocolate, gingerbread, liquorice and old wood. On the palate, the former favours elegance and finesse, while the latter highlights a more powerful structure and notes of roasting. The finish is long, greedy and carried by the expression of oak and the characteristic signature of Bielle.
