History of the distillery and characteristics of this cuvée

Maison La Mauny - Association des planteurs is an exceptional agricultural rum that celebrates the commitment of small planters in Martinique. Created in 2014, the Planters' Association supports the sugar cane industry by offering administrative support, training and assistance in commercial negotiations. This old agricultural rum is the result of the work of 64 planters, a large part of whom contribute to the distillery's supplies. Aged in barrels for more than three years in the distillery's cellars, this rum benefits from the unique climatic conditions of Martinique. It is the result of collaborative work, paying tribute to the richness of the local sugar cane. This limited edition cuvée is a world first, initially available only in Martinique, it is now marketed in mainland France. This cuvée embodies the expertise of Maison La Mauny, which has been producing quality agricultural rums for more than 250 years. The distillery, located in Rivière-Pilote in the heart of the lush valley of southern Martinique, perpetuates a tradition of know-how by combining creativity and respect for traditional production methods.

Located in Rivière Pilote (Martinique) since 1749, the La Mauny distillery owes its name to Count Ferdinand Poulain, Count of Mauny who landed in Martinique at the beginning of the 18th century.
