A committed approach to ageing in wood

With SouBwa, Neisson continues his exploration of rums aged in wood, which have long remained in the background compared to old rums. This in-depth work highlights the full potential of this intermediate breeding, when it is managed rigorously. Coming from the volcanic terroirs of northern Martinique, this agricultural rum benefits from an environment conducive to controlled maturation.

Precise and structuring ageing

Aged for up to 25 months, this spirit develops a strong aromatic structure while retaining the characteristic freshness of sugar cane. Ageing in wood brings complexity and roundness, without masking the identity of the distillate.

An intense and gourmet aromatic palette

The profile is distinguished by empyreumatic notes of roasted coffee, toasted cocoa and intense caramel. These aromas are enriched by nuances of stewed fruit, spices and sweet notes, bringing a beautiful fullness and a persistent finish with warm tones.

Since its creation in 1931, the Neisson distillery has preserved in the purest Martinican tradition the components of a rum with incomparable flavors and taste. Packaged in a bottle with generous shapes, reasonable among all: "Zépol Karé" as the amateurs say, our rums are the result of a know-how constantly renewed from the cane fields to the aging cellars.
