Half a century of history in a bottle

This 1976 vintage of Habitation Clément is a rare testimony to the art of tropical aging. Distilled at Le François in Martinique, this agricultural rum has survived the decades in the oak barrels of the winery's cellars, in the hot and humid climate of the West Indies. The considerable share of angels gives this vintage an extraordinary aromatic concentration.

A monument of complexity

The colour is a deep amber with mahogany reflections. The nose is infinitely complex: candied fruit, precious woods, beeswax, havana tobacco and rare spices. The palate is remarkably creamy , with notes of rancio, leather, chocolate and dried fruit. The finish seems endless, with an elegance and depth that can only be discovered after decades of maturation. A museum piece to be enjoyed with the greatest respect.
