Originating from the Depaz distillery, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful distilleries in Martinique, nestled at the foot of Mount Pelée and facing the sublime Caribbean Sea, the Depaz distillery was completely destroyed during the eruption of Mount Pelée on May 8, 1902. It was rebuilt with authenticity by Victor Depaz. The particularity of Depaz rums is the mineral side that owes it to the Pelée mountain and its freshwater springs. More than a treasure for Martinique, a treasure for rum lovers.

Nose : Nez bien fruité (pruneau) mais aussi bien boisé avec la vanille. On découvre aussi des épices (cannelle et muscade surtout), avec une pointe de réglisse

Palate : Après une attaque assez suave, il développe ensuite un caractère plus puissant, avec une belle présence boisée et épicée. Bien équilibré, il est constamment chaleureux et vif, malgré son âge déjà vénérable pour un rhum
