“It’s the promise land in Martinique!” wrote the island’s prefect. Land of cyclone and volcanic eruptions, this rum is charged with this telluric force that shape the landscape; Chantal Compte choose this rum in December 2010, in her research of rare and precious rums.
Land: Lamantin’s plains. The sugar cane fields surround the distillery, which assure a great and fresh harvest.
Purity of the water: the water comes from the Bel Air’s source.
Color: nice topaz color with hints of gold.
The Sommelier’s advice:
this great rum is made to drink straight but can also be adapted in an “old Ti-punch”, as one convivial pre-dinner liquor or as a festive chocolate or nuts dessert. Cigar lovers will appreciate it with a Havane or a Honduras.
