Selected by the Cellar Master of the Trois Rivière distillery for its tone, its romatic diversity and its length in the mouth, it has aged for 14 years in French oak barrels. Available in only 270 pieces, Trois Rivière s Single Cask 8-65 proves to be a great collector's rum.

Our tasting notes for Vintage 1999 barrel 8-65

Nose : D'appétissantes notes de fruits confits, de raisin secs et de banane précèdent des parfums de miel, de cannelle et de boisé, avant de terminer par un final olfactif aux notes de réglisse.

Palate : Tonique; Les premières saveurs de bois sec sont suivies par des arômes de fruit confits, et se prolongent en agréables notes épicées.

Finish : Aromatique aux saveurs de fruits murs, d'épices et de poivre gris, mélangées à de légères notes minérales, salines et empyreumatiques.
