House La Mauny, three centuries of history in Rivière-Pilote

Located in Rivière-Pilote since 1749, Maison La Mauny is one of the oldest distilleries in Martinique. Under the direction of cellar master Daniel Baudin, the house was awarded the IWSC 2018 Trophy for its entire range, a distinction that salutes the excellence of its maturing and blending work.

Finishing in acacia barrels, three months of maturation

This AOC Martinique agricultural rum is first aged in traditional oak barrels, then matured for three months in acacia barrels. This singular finish gives the rum floral, honeyed and slightly spicy notes that add to the classic palette of vanilla and wood. The nose is delicate and fragrant, the palate supple and aromatic, with a finish where acacia brings a distinctive natural sweetness. Gold medalist at the 2019 General Agricultural Competition, it is offered in an advantageous liter format.
