Under its beautiful coppery brown reflections, resulting from its very long stay in barrels, it releases dominant notes of wood associated with more subtle flavors, and reveals its powerful aromas of stone fruits (prune), dried fruits and spices (nutmeg) as well as a delicate roasted touch.

Cellar Master's tasting notes Saint James

The 12-year-old opens with a dominant woodiness and melts by the contact time of the barrel, which has an impact on the aromatic quality by a concentration of the product.
The notes of undergrowth and roasting (coffee, toasted) are accompanied by more marked spices such as nutmeg to gradually give way to smoother notes of cinnamon and prunes.
On the palate, the tannins are present and melted and bring length to the aromas with a final note of roasting.
