A tribute to the history of Saint James

Founded in 1765 in Saint-Pierre by Father Edmond Lefébure, the Saint James brand has spanned the centuries, marked by historical events such as the French Revolution and the eruption of Mount Pelée in 1902. Passed through different hands, the plantation underwent a major transition in thetwentieth century, moving to the production of agricultural rum in 1974 after moving to Sainte-Marie. Today, run by La Martiniquaise, Saint James is one of the largest rum producers in Martinique, known for its Creole column distillations.
