After 7 years of ageing in oak barrels in the purest tradition of old HSE rums, this extra old agricultural rum has been finished in Islay Single Malt whisky barrels for more than 12 months.

The finishing barrels come from the Ian Macleod distillery, a famous producer of Glengoyne, Tamdhu and Smokehead

Our tasting notes for

Nose : Le premier nez, à la fois capiteux et aérien, s’ouvre sur des notes de caramel doux et de pruneaux. Le boisé délicat offre un subtil équilibre entre fraicheur florale et notes chaudes de fruits macérés.

Palate : La bouche onctueuse balance entre notes de dattes sèches et réglisse, puis à l’aération, des arômes finement miellés se fondent, dans une belle harmonie, aux saveurs de sous-bois et de tabac blond.
