This ancient method, originally used by cane cutters to remove sharp cane leaves and snakes before cutting, is brought up to date by the Rhums Trois Rivières. The canes are then cut after the fires are extinguished and transported still steaming to be crushed. The juice is then fermented and distilled in a Creole column and reduced to 43% to spring water infused with burnt cane powder, boiled and filtered.

Our tasting notes for Canes burned
