Jacques Bally, founder of the brand, acquired this property in 1917. Thanks to his knowledge acquired at the École Centrale de Paris, he achieved a remarkable feat by building his own distillation column.

Inspired by the aging techniques used in the cognac industry, Jacques Bally made a bold decision that proved successful.
