More than two centuries of know-how

Founded in 1765 by Father Lefébure, the House Saint James is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Martinique. Based in Sainte-Marie, it produces agricultural rums certified AOC Martinique from pure cane juice distilled in a Creole column. The XO represents the top of the range: a blend of very old rums that have spent many years in oak barrels in the tropical climate of Martinique.

An hors d'âge of great nobility

Recognizable by its emblematic square bottle in its old packaging, this Saint James XO has a deep mahogany color. The nose mixes aromas of candied fruit, cocoa, tobacco and precious woods. On the palate, the texture is smooth and enveloping, punctuated by notes of vanilla, sweet spices and fine leather. The long and silky finish ends with a woody and fruity imprint of remarkable elegance. A timeless classic of tasting.

Nose : Acajou foncé, témoin d’un long vieillissement.

Palate : Dominante torréfiée mêlée à des notes de cave à cigare.

Finish : Belle longueur soutenue par des notes torréfiées (moka, cacao), fruitées (pruneau, figue) sur un fond finement épicé.
