For this cuvee 2012, white rums from 2001 (80%) and 2003 (20%) have been used. After a brief softening in wooden casks, the rums from this cuvee have been aged the 14 of March 2002 in American barrels of 196 liters, they have been transferred the 8 of April 2004 and then assembled in May 2012.
The maturation has then been continued in wooden casks of 2000 liters until the drawing in September 2012. For this cuvee 2012, the vintage 2002 et 2004 have been perfectly equally blended in order to preserve its harmony. In this way, the rum has benefit from an aging of more than 10 years in semi-maturation in wooden casks.
