It reveals aromas of ripe peach, orange blossom and citrus peel with tropical fruits. The scents of oak – vanilla and hazelnut – are superbly incorporated into the wine, composing a rich bouquet of aromas, while the smell of bread crust indicates contact with the lees. Round on the palate, with exceptional structure and crisp acidity.

Let's get back to our magnum, this 2008 vintage "brut de fût" benefited from 24 months of finishing in "Viognier Éclectique" white wine barrels from the Skouras estate in the Peloponnese in Greece.

Our tasting notes for Magnum Big Butt - Riesling 2014 vintage

Nose : Le nez envoutant s'ouvre sur des notes gourmandes de confiture de coing et de cacao fraichement torréfié.

Palate : La bouche ample et complexe offre une attaque tout en rondeur sur des notes de pruneaux à l'alcool, de pêche, de raison sec et de tabac blond.

Finish : Le rhum s'ouvre alors pour atteindre sa plénitude, révélant une minéralité soyeuse qui laisse peu de place à une très longue finale de fruits rouges compotés et de chèvrefeuille.
