Grays Inc., a sugar heritage since 1838

Launched in 2005, the New Grove brand is the contemporary expression of the know-how of Grays Inc., a producer based in Pamplemousses on Domaine Villebague since 1838. This historic site, one of the oldest in Mauritius, combines column and still distillation for an annual production of seven million litres of pure alcohol.

An introductory rum with amber reflections

The New Grove Oak Aged is a molasses rum whose stay in oak barrels gives it a golden colour with amber reflections. The nose is engaging, carried by aromas of vanilla, caramel and quince paste, enhanced by copper touches typical of the Mauritian style. On the palate, the substance is supple and balanced, with a controlled sweetness and nuances of spices reminiscent of sandalwood and nutmeg. At 40°, it is an ideal rum for lovers who wish to explore the aged expressions of the Indian Ocean.
