Alambique Serrano Cartier 30
A heritage inspired by Mexican traditions
Alambique Serrano - Cartier 30 takes its name from the Cartier scale, which was once used to measure the degree of alcohol before being replaced by the Gay-Lussac scale. The "30" level corresponds to approximately 70% alcohol and was the preferred strength of many inhabitants of Santa Maria Tlalixtac, where this rum was traditionally lengthened with a little fresh cane juice before being tasted.
A production faithful to pure cane juice
Produced by Los Hermanos Krassel from pure cane juice of the Java variety, this rum is the result of a natural fermentation thanks to ambient yeasts. Bottled at 69% without ageing, it highlights all the aromatic richness of the raw material and the character of a spirit made in accordance with traditional methods.
Tasting notes
The aromatic profile is distinguished by frank notes of fresh cane, a marked vegetal expression, a brackish touch and a beautiful intensity. An assertive personality that will seduce lovers of white rums with character, rich in flavors and authenticity.
Alambique Serrano
In the mountains of Oaxaca, Alambique Serrano crafts artisanal rum from fresh sugarcane juice, preserving three generations of Krassel family expertise. Hand-harvested on steep hillsides, the cane ferments naturally before distillation in distinctive, locally engineered stills. Every bottle unites ancestral practice, inventive craftsmanship, and the unmistakable soul of its origin.
