Alambique Serrano Blend 11 Besadiablos
A blend inspired by the heights of Oaxaca
Produced by Los Hermanos Krassel, Alambique Serrano - Blend 11: "Besadiablos" succeeds the Matadiablo 2024 edition. It is made from Java cane grown at over 3,000 feet above sea level in the Santa Maria Tlalixtac Mountains of Oaxaca. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel and pine tanks using ambient yeasts, before distillation combining a traditional still and a Krassel column.
Complex ageing at the service of balance
This blend brings together rums that have been aged in a variety of French oak barrels, new Hungarian oak, old red wine, bourbon and American oak rum barrels, to which is added a portion of unaged high ester rum. Bottled at its natural strength of 59.6%, this spirit reveals great depth while maintaining a beautiful precision.
Tasting notes
The nose opens with aromas of nuts, grilled pineapple and dried berries. On the palate, roasted nuts, fruit leather, grilled pineapple and dried pine needles make up an intense, structured and particularly expressive aromatic profile.
Alambique Serrano
In the mountains of Oaxaca, Alambique Serrano crafts artisanal rum from fresh sugarcane juice, preserving three generations of Krassel family expertise. Hand-harvested on steep hillsides, the cane ferments naturally before distillation in distinctive, locally engineered stills. Every bottle unites ancestral practice, inventive craftsmanship, and the unmistakable soul of its origin.
- Distilled from fresh sugar cane juice (agricole method)
