A rum steeped in history

The name El Ron Prohibido refers to a ban imposed in the 17th century by the King of Spain, Felipe V, who was anxious to protect Spanish productions in the face of the growing popularity of this Mexican rum. Today, this tradition is reborn with a 15-year solera ageing, which brings roundness and complexity to this exceptional rum.

A deliciously balanced flavour profile

On the nose, this rum reveals a lightness marked by scents of coffee. On the palate, the creaminess of vanilla combines with pastry notes to offer a gourmet tasting, while touches of caramel coat the whole.
