An iconic Nicaraguan distillery

Founded in the 1980s, the Compania Licorera de Nicaragua is the only distillery still active in Nicaragua. Driven by a demand for authenticity, she makes her rums according to the exclusive Slow-Aged™ method. This natural process, subject to a hot and humid climate, promotes accelerated ageing where significant evaporation gives the rum a remarkable aromatic concentration.

An exceptional rum with a gourmet profile

This 25-year-old rum reveals an aromatic palette of great elegance. On the nose, notes of vanilla and cocoa dominate. On the palate, nuances of ripe fruit, almond and salted butter caramel are harmoniously expressed. The long and persistent finish reveals touches of tobacco and roasting, underlining all the complexity of this cuvée that has won many medals, including a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
