Deep water diving

With Deep Water, Rom De Luxe continues the exploration of the Selected Series by marrying two terroirs of Central America and the Caribbean. The rums from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, both distilled in columns from molasses, were aged between 8 and 12 years in bourbon barrels before being blended in Denmark. The result is a blend that favors depth and complexity.

Molasses, fruit and heat

The nose reveals aromas of vanilla, caramel and molasses, enhanced by notes of ripe red fruits and cocoa. The palate confirms with a dense and warm substance, where muscovado sugar, candied fruit and spices follow one another. The finish, of medium length, offers a lingering sweetness on wood and toffee. A blend that lives up to its name: we dive into it with pleasure.

In the depths of Denmark, an innovative trio birthed "Rom De Luxe", a daring bottler. In 2016, Claus Andersen, in collaboration with Thomas Nielsen and Lasse Bjørklund, embarked on this thrilling journey. But like all great tales, characters shift: today, Michael Ginnerup and Kim Pedersen have taken up the torch, replacing Thomas and Lasse.
