An original finishing process

Each edition of Cannonball explores a different method to achieve this profile reminiscent of gunpowder and the atmosphere of naval battles. This time, the peated whisky cask finish brings deep and intense notes, enhanced by the smoked hay technique.

A powerful and evocative rum

On the nose, an irresistible bouquet unfolds with accents of ash, grilled meat and tobacco, underlined by a gourmet touch of caramel. On the palate, the intensity is there: the peaty and smoky aromas are fully expressed, accompanied by toasted malt, dried straw and vegetal nuances reminiscent of the herbs of Provence. The long and striking finish evokes a campfire transformed into a barbecue. An intense and unforgettable experience.

Nose : fruité et fumé avec de la mangue, de l’abricot, du poivron et des effluvesde viande séchée.

Palate : il développe un caractère gras et opulent, avec des notes de fruit confit,de caramel bien cuit, du vinaigre xérès. Un coté chips au barbecue lui confère unaspect gourmand.

Finish : Comme un poulet Boucané, plat typique des Antilles cuit sur le grill. Elleest légèrement fumée et s’allie à des arômes sucrés.

The idea was born from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East India companies of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, which selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Like the latter, we select the best qualities of rum and import them in France. Compagnie des Indes rums, whether bottled in Single Casks or assembled to bring out the typicality and qualities of each destination, are selected with great rigor.
