A rum in the pure Cuban tradition

Created in 2000 by Marco Savio, the Malecon brand is inspired by the ageing techniques of Havana. Distilled in a column from molasses from Panamanian canes, this rum benefits from a careful refinement that gives it depth and finesse.

15 years of ageing

This rum rests for 15 years in oak barrels that have contained bourbon, developing a beautiful aromatic richness. This prolonged ageing in a tropical climate allows to obtain a velvety texture and a balanced aromatic palette.

A gourmet and refined profile

Malecon 15-year-old seduces with its notes of caramel, vanilla and dried fruit, sublimated by a slight woody touch. An ideal rum for pure tasting, revealing all the subtlety of the Panamanian style.

The rum specialist, Marco Savio of Savio Trading Srl in Aosta, Italy, is the founder of Malecon rums. The rum is produced according to the traditional Cuban method from the Caribbean Spirits Panama Distillery and offers an exceptional range of aromas and impressions and can – depending on the rum – age for 25 years and more.
