A controlled ageing of 25 years

Inspired by Cuban heritage, Malecon - Reserva Imperial Superior 25 Year Old benefits from prolonged ageing which gives it an unrivalled complexity and roundness. The years spent in oak barrels give it deep aromas of toasted wood, vanilla and tobacco, enriched by a subtle vegetal touch.

A refined aromatic profile

The nose opens with a powdery sweetness, evoking icing sugar and marshmallow, before giving way to notes of caramel, roasted nuts and slightly spicy wood. On the palate, the attack is silky, carried by flavours of burnt oak, coffee and roasted dried fruit. The finish, round and jammy, extends the experience with elegance.

A tasting rum

Thanks to its aromatic richness and balance, this rum is ideally appreciated neat, slowly savoured. It is also an excellent companion for a Havana cigar, enhancing its woody and vanilla nuances.

The rum is produced according to the traditional Cuban method from the Caribbean Spirits Panama Distillery and offers an exceptional range of aromas and impressions and can – depending on the rum – age for 25 years and more.
