Founded in Reunion Island 180 years ago, Isautier perpetuates an island know-how at the service of original spirits. This anniversary cuvée pays tribute to the continuity of an artisanal distillery, the precision of the gesture and a bold vision of agricultural rum.

Product Overview

French single cask, cask n°35202, this 2006 vintage agricultural rum has been aged for a long time in barrels for 18 years in a tropical climate, revealing an exceptional concentration. Continuous column distillation, rigorous selection of the raw material, meticulous monitoring: an authentic expression of Reunion Island rum. Bottled at 65.4%, without reduction or cold filtration, it has a deep copper colour. Limited edition of 422 bottles.

Tasting notes

Nose: vegetal profile, then exotic fruits, waxed wood, spices, chocolate, leather, cigar. Palate: complex attack combining vegetal notes, caramelized and greedy touches. Finish: long and intense, dominated by leather and chocolate, prolonging the experience.
