The Reunionese heritage of Savanna

The Savannadistillery, located in Saint-André on the east coast of Reunion Island, has remarkable equipment: distillation columns and pot stills, allowing it to produce a very varied range — traditional, agricultural and great aromas. This 5-year-old Traditional, in old packaging, is a molasses rum aged for 5 years in oak barrels.

A Reunionese rum with character

The nose has notes of vanilla, caramel, dried fruit and spices. The palate is supple and pleasant, with aromas of toffee, dried banana, liquorice and a discreet woodiness . The finish is medium and warm. This old packaging, now replaced, makes it a collector's item for Savanna lovers. Excellent value for money.
